Pollock Electric ProCabin
Acquired by the Gregory Group in 2021, Pollock are based in the Central Belt of Scotland and commenced operations in 1935. Today a mixed fleet of around 100 trucks operate in the Polock livery, and about to hit the road are three Mercedes eActros 600 ProCabin tractor units. The first one is named Electra after a character in Greek Mythology. (The English word ‘electric’ was coined by scientist William Gilbert, from the name Electra, to describe electrostatic phenomena). It will have the appropriate cherished registration E1 PSL, the first on a Pollock truck since tthey became part of Gregory.
