Dent Logistics

There first HGVs were bought in 2000 to transport our own livestock. When foot & mouth struck in 2001 they were unable to move livestock so they diversified into transporting wood co-products for our now largest customer, A W Jenkinson Forest Products. This work eventually outgrew there own livestock transport and they also started transporting animal feed and other agricultural products for a variety of customers.

There fleet has expanded over the years to include 40 walking floors, two chipliners, four log trailers with cranes, two blowers and seven tippers.

In 2011 the haulage operation relocated to there current site at the old brickworks, Barbary Plains, Edenhall, on the A686 just outside Penrith. This site provides ample parking for the fleet, with plenty of room to expand, along with workshops and storage facilities.

In early 2014 they transferred the haulage business to a new company, Dent Logistics Ltd.
