Ewing Bros

From Modest beginnings in agricultural supplies to haulage from a purpose designed yard, Ewing Bros has come a long way in just over sixty years. Yet at its core, Ewing Bros remains the same – a family business with a practical and down-to-earth approach at getting the goods from A to B.

The Business started up in 1950 by William Ewing from his home near Benburb. William and his brother Edgar saw the difficulties farmers faced getting supplies in regularly so they began a farm supplies delivery service bringing animal feedstuffs, fertilizers, fuel and general hardware direct to the farmyard.

Before long, the suppliers realised William Ewing was offering a first rate service and they started contracting the business for agricultural haulage. From there general haulage expanded to become the core element of the business until farm supplies were eventually phased out of the operation altogether. William’s sons Steven, Paul and John all joined the business and now run it jointly from their premises at Granville conveniently located just of the new A4 dual carriageway between Dungannon and Ballygawley.
