Stobart Biomass

Part of the Stobart Group, Stobart Energy is the UK’s number one supplier of biomass fuel, with long-term contracts in place to supply 2 million tonnes of fuel to Energy Recovery Facilities, generating renewable energy equivalent to the annual domestic electricity needs of 2% of the UK population.

There team of over 300 people deliver a full waste management solution to Energy Recovery Facilities across the UK via its specialist procurement, transport, operations, quality and plant management teams.

They have long-term agreements in place to supply two million tonnes per year and have invested in best in class infrastructure. This includes six wood management sites strategically located across the UK, 135 walking floor trailers and cutting-edge IT systems.
