Bowring Transport

The business began with moving livestock for farmers to the markets of North Nottinghamshire, before progressing into general agricultural haulage and carrying loads such as fertiliser, corn and sugar beet.

In 1974, Bill’s wife and their two sons, formed the company Bowring Transport Limited. Although the company was still involved in the agricultural haulage market, the business then branched out into the transportation of building waste and materials for road reconstruction projects.
