Mayflower celebrating 50 years

Mayflower Transport Ltd is a small Devon based family run company specialising in the movement of caravans, lodges and mobile homes.Mayflower Transport has almost 50 years experience in caravan transport. Starting life in Sussex in the early 1960’s, (partly as a spin-off from the existing family business of caravan holiday lettings), it originally began with a Landrover and trailer moving caravans and small boats. Eventually the owner was old enough to obtain his HGV licence and acquired his first lorry – a Bedford TK. The business then grew from there and located down to Devon in the late 1970’s. We now operate a small fleet of Scania’s and transport considerably bigger caravans than in those early days – although it must be said that the country lanes haven’t got any bigger!
