Heavy Haulage (3)

The transportation of heavy railway locomotives between preservation sites is mainly carried out by Allelys or Heanor Heavy Haulage. One of the latter is pictured on the M6 at Pailton in 2007 carrying a B.R. Standard class 9F, 92203 which weighs in at around 87 tons. Photo is courtesy of and copyrighted to Barry Davies.
