City Transport a trip down memory lane

Come on now show your age and admit you can remember when City Transport ran 5,000 vehicles from Milton Keynes. All the vehicles were contract hired and were leased back to a company that already partially owned them who were semi hiring them from a company who part owned the leasing company who had a sale/leaseback agreement with a dodgy geezer who was bezzy mates with the main man who knew the MD at Renault who unknowingly leased themselves their own vehicles. Holding the baby or what ? What always amazed me was the statement "Driven by our customers", did that mean when you had a full load someone from personnel had to take 26 palletts to East Kilbride ?
